Fruity Salsa with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips
You need:
- 1 Fuji apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 6 (10 inch) flour tortillas
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Butter or margarine to taste
- In a medium bowl, mix together Fuji apple, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, lime juice, 2 tbs white sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg; cover and chill in refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Spread butter or margarine to taste then sprinkle with 3 tbs white sugar and 1 tbs ground cinnamon on flour tortillas
- Slice tortillas into triangles and place on baking sheet; bake for about 10 minutes or until crispy
- Serve the warm chips with the chilled salsa
